Our Story
Built on a clear conviction
Oyster Investments was established to address a straightforward opportunity: compelling real estate markets across three continents — each with distinct characteristics, each offering genuine long-term value — met with a lack of professionally managed, investor-grade development activity.
We founded the business on a simple conviction: that rigorous investment discipline, applied to well-selected assets in the right locations, would produce strong outcomes for all parties. That conviction has shaped every decision we have made since, whether in East Africa, the Middle East, or Europe.
We are a deliberately focused business. We do not pursue every opportunity across every geography. We select carefully, structure thoughtfully, and execute with the level of attention that protects capital and builds long-term credibility.

A Multi-Market Business
East Africa
Our founding market. We have deep expertise in residential and commercial development across East African urban centres, with a particular focus on Kampala and the broader Uganda market. East Africa represents our largest concentration of active projects and the market where our local intelligence is strongest.
Middle East
The GCC real estate market offers a combination of deep institutional capital, ambitious long-term urban development programmes, and strong demand from an internationally connected population. We engage selectively in residential and mixed-use opportunities across key centres, working with local partners who share our approach.
Europe
Europe provides regulatory clarity, established exit liquidity, and a mature professional services infrastructure. We target selective residential and commercial assets in well-located urban markets where disciplined acquisition, professional management, and active asset strategy can generate consistent, risk-adjusted returns for our investors.
